Not long ago I a mech. was doing my 50 hr. service on my BX 24 and before I reattached the 60 mmm I did a once over and found 3 nuts missing. Did not even look like they were ever there. So everyone I suggest you give a peak.

If you are referring to the studs holding the top covers in place, they don't get nuts, they are used as pins to hold the cover, nuts would make life difficult.
