Thanks, Mike. The local Line-X franchisee is very near me. I'll be anxious to hear from you on what Line-X says regarding this application. Let me know, OK? Thanks!
Gary, just got the answer...

Mike,

So long as the deck was prepared correctly, and the Franchisee has the proper training and experience.

WOW! That sounds as political as any answer I've seen. Not one but two outs for them if it doesn't work. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

After seeing the fifteen year old MMM deck posted here I'm not planning on doing this after all. I guess I'm just not convinced it's going to do all that much for me. I'm going to either use a spray or brush on coating and let it go at that. While I think the $75 per mower is a fair price with the lifetime warranty, I'm just not convinced it's necessary.

Mathey,

I did use the spray tonight as I bought it about 4 months ago. If it does last the two weeks as you said then I know it is a good product and will buy it in the can.

I even think this winter as a project I will sand blast the bottom of the deck and repaint it a couple of coats and then brush the slip plate on.
