Tractor
Mitsubishi MT180 HMD
Hello,

I posted this in the model specific area but maybe better here?
Brand new to tractors and I recently purchased a Mitsubishi MT 180HD compact tractor (1985 with loader and 1100 hrs on it). It did not come with a 3 point hitch setup. I have seen a few linkage kits but want to make sure I get one that is right for the tractor. For example, some lift bars are 27", some 31" and some straight and some bend outward (and then back) to make a wider space. I am currently looking at this kit on eBay:

http://bit.ly/17okEPV

This has 31" lift bars that bend outward. My main attachment, at first is just going to be a lift bar with 2" receiver. But do want it to be able to be used for other attachments (blades,rakes,tiller/etc).

Just want to make sure I understand more before pulling the trigger on it.

Thanks
Derrick.

Hi Derrick,

Did you finally came up with a solution and the right 3 points linkage ? I am in the exact same situation today, with the tractor I bought, and was wondering if you could communicate the link/reference of the linkage you find / installed successfully. Thanks !

The link you provided just took me to a generic ebay web page.

I have not seen many post here that are related to Mitsubishi.

I can not answer your question, and I do not know if the parts books would show any sizes. They should show if it is straight of bent.

I can tell you that the length issue I have had are, too short and the implement can hit the tires or the draw bar when lifting.
Too long and you lose lifting capacity.
If it were me I would go with too short. Because if it is too short you can always and the Pat's Quick Connect system to make it longer, and I think you will be glad you got the Pat's system.

I have 2 Pat's Quick Hitches.
1 Cat 1, and 1 Cat 2.
I am guessing they only add 2 to 3 inches.

Your tractor.. I can not see anything bigger than Cat 1.
Anyone who ever uses any Cat 2 implements, IMO should consider getting the Cat 2 QH and bushings to make all the implements Cat 2.

Silly me.
I need to pay closer attention.

Alway a day late and a dollar short.

Thanks
