Eyelet is easy.
Those steel wire core cables bull out of the sheath, and they are WA long, cut to fit. The knob is just pressed on one end. The panel mount is part of the sheath.
Pull the cable out, cut the knob, then use needle nose to make an eye. Add a touch of solder or braze to close the eye bottom to keep it from opening,thread core in , cut to fit. Cheap, easy.
