Very nice. The requirement for several hydraulic remotes gets expensive. Most tractors do not have that many spare remotes. I notice the unique set of multi-lever controls with 6 or more levers. Is that easy to find ? Is there any way to drive that set of multiple valves off a single remote? [That would make the whole system much more popular since many users have ONE remote available but not many.]
One key limitation of all the quick-hitches I have seen is width between hitch pins. Half of my implements do not quite match the width of the rigid quick hitch frame and worse yet, there is no adjustment for width. That lack of width adjustment (at least for a manual quick hitch) makes it harder or at times impossible to connect. So much so that I set the quick hitch aside and never use it.
I notice you are using one of the std. quick hitch "frames" and built around it. You have a very valuable innovation hydraulically driving the quick hitch. My first suggestion is to devise some means for left-right width adjustment between pin locations. That does not need to be hydraulically operated, just needs to be there somehow. I think that means getting away from the base quick-hitch frame or else modifying it. May be difficult.
By the way, how are you compatible with both Cat I and Cat II implements without any width adjustment ?
In spite of all those things I think you have a great set of ideas. Certainly thought provoking !
Thanks JWR
My Nordvalves have 7 remotes. For QH I have 4 if I want all hydraulic.
Qh can work with hydraulic toplink and hydraulic upper hook very well, but I like all 4 hydraulics.
My Nordvalve is serial with kubotas hydraulic, Very easy.
I had to pay about it 200 dollars.
Valves can be lead electric too.
My QH is compatible with both Cat I and Cat II implements
because it have hydraulic width adjustment and manual locking for it?
But then it needs cat3 hooks and bushings as you use in USA, or
the hook needs redesign as I show in picture below.
The width adjustment can be easy by hand lever because it is very light to use.
I made QH part after part and welded together.
The automatic opening and closing of lower latches happen when upper hook go up.
