Unknown codes in tractor production record in serial number search. RG53 & TW2342

Serial number Search reads as such. " Model 840 Tractor serial # 8400XXX." Destination: To Engineering Department on April 1st 1959. Returned on RG53 on April 20th. Sold to Bismarck, North Dakota, ( BR 8 ), on TW2342 on August 21st 1959.

What is RG53 and TW2342 ?

According to the serial number the build date would have been on or around the 3rd week of March.

Maybe RG is Returned Goods, what we now call RMA?
