Unknown KUBOTA KNOB?????

   / Unknown KUBOTA KNOB????? #11
We have an '86 L2850, and I dont think that knob has been moved since 1987. I tried adjusting it a few weeks ago... froze up like a snowman at the north pole. I'll be dealing with that when in comes in for rear axle seals this winter.

As a kid growing up on our ol MF 135, I dont recall ever adjusting it, other than dad showing me what it did... just found a 'happy medium' and left it there. But the lower 3ph arms dropped quick enough when empty... double the size of the ones on my new tractor.

My 2010 Kubota L3400hst was frozen up solid when it was delivered. I used some Kroil on the shaft for a couple of days, then got it to move slightly. Kept working it back and forth and it started to move more and more. Be gentle with it, as that shaft could snap off in a heartbeat if you applied too much force. I finished up lubing it with Fluid Film. I never had any more trouble with it.
