Unknown Kubota

I have had someone ask me to try to bet some information on their Kubota 4 wheel drive tractor. It is believed to be a mid 80's tractor, about 18 horsepower, no ROPS, it has power steering. At this time they are trying to get a model number etc. It has a new 1846 QT front end loader by Bush Hog. This information may give an idea of its size for the use of such a loader.
It is a diesel with the muffle on the left side facing horizontal and exhausting to the front.
Any ideas of what it is? I know this is not alot of information, I will give more as I get it. Thanks

Is there a mid PTO ?
based on the limited information I would take a stab and guess maybe a b7100 but it's off the wall...

is there not manufacturer plates in the regular places?

Check the transmission housing where you straddle it - by the clutch pedal - there should be a model and serial number in the casting or a tag affixed there.

The engine serial number is in the block between the valve cover and the injection pump - it should read like "D750XYZ1234ABC" - that also will help

It may be gray market as well with the tags knocked off or obliterated.

Maybe post a picture so we can eyeball it.

I have gotten a bit more information. It has 750 hours and is believed to be a model B2150 or equivalent, unsure if they had a grey market similar tractor.
I hope to have various serial numbers soon so someone might identify it for sure. Thanks

I would have guessed B7100 also. B2150's did not have a horizontal muffler, and I don't think you could turn it horizontal and clear a loader.

Well, here are pictures of my old Kubota. 19hp, 1985 manufacture, and a Bushhog QT loader. Mine had ROPS, but not PS(was an option though).

Mine was a B8200, which was later replaced by a B2150.

Look on the side of the transmission; that is a common place for the tractor tag. That is where mine was.

My muffler was vertical; I unbolted it and rotated it 90 degrees so it pointed out the front.

Sounds like my B1750HST. Rated at 20HP / 17HP @ the PTO. I think mine may be 90ish, though.

Looks just like my B2150, except for the muffler being horizontal, I even have the same loader. The numbers are on your left frame just in front of the seat, just in back of the clutch pedal. I suppose the muffler could have been changed to keep exaust from blowing in your face, but like someone said the loader may interfear. Curious let us know how you make out.:thumbsup:

It appears brain 55 may be correct. Upon inspection they saw a number that leads them to believe it is a B7100. There is a number on the engine that is 0213 and another with K2-A. As indicated it has 750 hours, power steering, no ROPS but 4 wheel drive. It has mismatched paint, once painted over for the business that used it. It now has a one year old Bush Hog brand front end loader Model 1845QT, a one year old 3 pt snow blower with skids and a rear 3pt blade. Any ideas on a fair price. I will also ask this on the pricing section.
