Unknown part.

Hey all. I have a 1998 cub cadet and the blower isn't working.
Also not sure what this part is and if it relates to the blower.
Any help is appreciated

I see no part numbers on the part in question. It may be a tab mount power transistor, a voltage regulator, or something else. It is some sort of solid state device and could control the blower. It, in turn, is likely controlled by a smaller, lower power device - probably on a circuit board. There should be numbers on the part telling what it is. If not it may be identified by a schematic diagram.

Thanks everyone. I'll take a look at the schematics for my tractor. Turns out it was an old Vaccum actuator for the blower. 125 bucks later and it should work after I install it. Cheers
