Is the hydro self-unloading on the BX 2230, or is there a release somewhere in case you need to push the tractor a short distance?

I have been wondering what the little red button under the seat is and just noticed in another post someone said something about a relief valve.

Also, is there a service manual out on the 2230 with more detail than the owner/operator's manual? If so, where can you get one?

Put the tractor and Neutral and it is unloading the hydro..... It will RUN down a driveway. Don't ask me how I know this.

Oops, I know it's been said there are no STUPID questions, but I think this one was the exception to that rule.

I forgot I have a transfer case on this 2230 with a NEUTRAL position. Not used to having 4WD or choices of gear ranges yet.

Thanks for reminding me.

As said before" There are no stupid questions". On the other hand I suffer from "Memory Lapse". Unfortunately some of them happen for an extended amount of time!!
