up grading

I'm thinking of moving up from a tc45d to a 55d or48d any recommendations ?

I personally will go with a TC55 on my next tractor. Are you trying to decide between the two? 48 or 55? the 55 as you know is same thing but turbo charged. But i would want the extra horsepower if it was me. The 55 is quite a bit bigger and heavier then the 45 and will do more work and heavier work. Has class 2-- 3pt hitch too. I dont know what price difference is between the 48 and 55 but more horsepower is usually better but some people dont like turbo's but now days i dont think they have many problems.

I went with the TC 48 after comparing what the 55 would give me for the extra money. They are identical tractors except for the fact that the 55 has a turbocharger. The 48 gives me all the power that I need and actually has slightly more Hydraulic flow in gpm than the 55.

Between the two that you mentioned, I'm partial to the TC55 due to the turbo. The turbo engine will bog less in tough spots.

For myself, I'd also consider the TN60 due to its brawn, transmission choices, and longevity. Believe it or not, the big TCs and the TNs have similar physical dimensions.
