Update on Steering Cylinders.

Terry very kindly overnighted those seals for the cylinders and they arrived this AM. I immediately set to taking apart the cylinder. When I started to mar the cylinder I knew I was in trouble. Totally removed them and headed down to the local machine shop. Poor guy had the hit it with a torch and use this massive pipe wrench to pry it open. But, $60 later he had both cylinders rebuilt. Bolted them back on, had to turn on and off the engine to get the cylinders to expand to the proper size... But it has run like a charm since...

I am afraid to look at the invoice from Terry....

Yea I think PT uses lock tight on everything. They used it to lock my wheel motor to the wheel hub. A 20 ton bottle Jack press barely pressed it out. TIGHT!!! With that stuff sometimes Heat is the best option.

Glad u got it going. Its a bad feeling when u spin the wheel and the PT keeps straight.

Bad feeling when you have to do loopedy loops to get home.... A whole bunch or left turns. Glad I produced that Nascar movie this spring...

How long it take for you to get home?

I would have had to spin around the other way once i got home to keep from running into things.
