My EGR failed on my 2021 mt357. Dealer sent me a new EGR valve under warranty but it is the "updated" version . Looks a lot different. Has anyone changed there's to the updated version?
I have a 2017 XR4155 hydro trans with cab and 517 hours, located in Wisconsin. My Scenario: Tractor ran fine when parked but when I tried to start it up back in early February it would only idle at low rpm for ~30 seconds and eventually died, like it was starving for fuel. No codes or warning...

The original Erae EGR valve was discontinued by the manufacturer, so LS was forced to change to the new Kamtech valve. I'm surprised that the dealer would send you a new style Kamtech EGR valve because you can't replace it with the new valve without installing a conversion kit. The kit has a new manifold and piping and the engine ECU must also be reprogrammed with new software to make the new valve work. Not something you can do yourself. The dealer uses their EVCI service tool to do that, and also must use the tool to save engine data and diagnostic trouble code files to submit with the warranty claim.
