In the process of replacing my old 720P wireless cameras with a new 1080p HD system. Just hay wired with prelim brackets to hold the cameras. Cameras are on the pricey side, but the new versions also seem to have zero interference/noise on the pictures. Really a noticeably clearer picture. Good winter project since I am stuck inside the barn.... Plate on the handrail above the new cameras is where the old 720 cameras were mounted, will come off soon.

says in the Amazon exta cameras are free. You could monitor front sides traffic for swing.

Hi Sis ... !!!! I am waiting for you to get your Morooka tracked haul dumper and I am going to come down and drive it for you in my spare time..... We still have knee high snow bergs everywhere... :) [ Did you notice how I mounted the cameras out almost two inches so it will help cushion the fall for when I roll my excavator over on it's right side .... ??? ]

Cameras are actually a boot $60 a piece. With one camera, you have a full screen picture in high def. When you use two, you get a half sized picture from the one camera setup. If you show all four cameras, then you get 4 little pictures. You also have the option of pushing a button to scroll between each of the cameras. But I basically just wanted something to watch forward and rearward on that blind side. Most older excavators are all beat to heck. Partly because the OP looses touch of his clear work area, partly idiot OP, and maybe partly because he does not care. My barn doors are only 10' wide, and this unit is almost 8-1/2' wide, so it really helps in close quarters. I put a OEM like mirror on the driver side, and that sort of takes care of the left side. 4 cameras would work, but two is enough for what I need. I would like to stress that the new HD cameras are really a lot better than the old ones, even if they are more spensive.

Just plant the left track a foot from the door and go in. All is fine here without camera, but then.....................................it was 82 degrees here.

I have a two camera HD monitor for my E42 hoe that is still in the box  , I noticed the 2020 Bobcats now have a cam as an option which I would have ordered if available.

I ran a two cam lower res on my excavator last year. Thirty years ago, when my excavator was born, the first OP had a mirror over on that side to look see. But, all that is left nowdays is part of the bracket. I had no problem wacking that side of the ex on stuff while using the cameras. But if I did tear off a camera, that would be my problem and I would fix it. These new cameras have way better wireless connection and picture quality. I also put a one camera non-HD wireless cam on two of my snow plowing/blowing tractors for help seeing backwards in the winter. [ we have this white stuff way up north here that covers the ground for part of the year ] A lot of new heavy equipment now comes with the cams. You will like yours. They are not a perfect solution, but on the plus side of helping you operate.

My 1080p cams are wired, I think that's more foolproof than wireless. I started to make a guard for the cams but the flat bar I was bending was too thick (I have a 50 ton press) for a guard - need to pick up some thinner stock. I have a fairly good idea of clearances when I'm operating but sometimes I get really close to an object and a cam would be really valuable. The real challenge is finding a good place for the monitor.
