My 1080p cams are wired, I think that's more foolproof than wireless. I started to make a guard for the cams but the flat bar I was bending was too thick (I have a 50 ton press) for a guard - need to pick up some thinner stock. I have a fairly good idea of clearances when I'm operating but sometimes I get really close to an object and a cam would be really valuable. The real challenge is finding a good place for the monitor.

I have been buying a lot of my metals from Amazon or other online metal supply shops the last few years. Our local sources either do not want to bother with small orders, or have priced themselves out of the market. I can source something online and get it shipped to me cheaper than local now days up here in the boonies in Michigan. Plus online, they stock just about all sizes you want. AND, they actually want your business...

I've used onlinemetals.com for aluminum and stainless steel. I can buy steel plate, bar, rod, square tube, etc locally. When I say locally, that's sort of tongue-in-cheek, even a grocery store is a 50 mile round trip for us :p .
