The first thought was to use standard pallets with 30" sides for storing and moving firewood, and stacking them two high....thus the 3' lift height. Now, it looks like using the method below will reduce loader capacity required by placing the load closer to the pins. Currently looking at moving these pallets into the front of the garage and using a pallet jack to stage them in the garage.

I am taking your advice and looking at the
B2650. I am hoping the dealer will let me run a trial to see if it will handle the cut down pallet concept with the FEL. As a fall back, the
B2650 3 pt has the capacity as I tried this with my JD855 using a TSC carry all and it worked fine. The
B2650 3pt has over 400 llbs more capacity than the JD855. I cannot get a cab tractor into my garage as I only have 81" clearance. By using front pallet forks, I have more room for error than trying to back in with the 3pt. But knowing I can "make do" with the 3pt allows me to look at a smaller machine.
The good news is that the doors in my detached garage give me 92"+ of clearance so I can get a cab in there to mount the snow blower on a cement floor and out of the elements. Still cold but better than being outside.
