Buying Advice Upgrading from JD 425aws to ZTR.

I just went through this, and got a Kubota ZD326. It makes the 425AWS look and feel like a toy. Overkill probably. I haven't yet got it into anything that slows it. I normally mow at 2/3 to 3/4 throttle.

Got to demo a Ferris 2500 61' diesel today for about 1 and 1/2 hours. To summarize--WOW.
Cant imagine anyone improving on this machine. It is quite a beast. I could easily mow 30% faster than my 425 even travels w/o the deck engaged. Never thought I would have to take wind chill factor into account while mowing. Will post more tomorrow hopefully.

I am with you. I have been around all the major ztr's for 10 years now and nothing holds a candle to the Ferris. The BadBoy line is a lot of mower for the money but no Ferris.
