here's where we're at...

4310 MFWD E-Hydro w/430FEL w/4in1, and telescoping extender - $20,000 less $5,000 in trade for our '85 850. and 0% financing for 3 yrs.

what do you think? anything we forgot? should we negotiate some more?

Your choices look great, however in your original post you mentioned getting disc, plow, and spreader I believe. Are you planning on getting these at the same time? I would recommend that you get all your implements or add-ons at the same time because generally speaking you can get a better deal on them, also if there are any options you are planning on adding to the tractor such as lights, weights, etc. I think you have been given great advise from others here on TBN, just adding my 2 cents from my buying experiences. Of course that also depends upon your particular finance situtation. There were more implements I wanted to get while closing my deal but couldn't /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif at the time.

we already purchased the plow (it fit on our 850 and we had an immediate need.

We are quoted $900 for the heavy duty disc cultivator, and $375 for the spreader.

my local JD dealer is matching the price deal on the tractor (and has the e-hydro in stock but not the FEL). He does not have the disc cultivator.

the dealer who sold me the 850 is about 80 miles away, but a really good guy. However, he does not have the e-hydro in stock and will have to order same.

we're trying to get the full package and get a delivery date commitment from each - so we can make the decision.

I would definitely go for the 430 loader. 50% higher breakout force, 20% higher lift capacity than the 420, higher lift height.

One thing with the 4n1 bucket... they're great, but how much of your lift capacity do you lose to the heavier bucket? If the lost capacity (or the extra $$) is not a big deal for you, then by all means go for the 4n1 for the work you have described. If you don't want to give up the lift capacity, consider a regular bucket with a removable tooth bar (I would not go with the individual bolt-on teeth. These are great for picking up loose hay and debris, but you can bend your bucket lip if you are not carefull. The toothbar helps to reinforce your bucket edge for heavier digging.)
