use for used hydraulic fluid?

A rental shop owner I knew supplied filtered automatic transmission fluid for his chain saw rentals. (essentially the same product).

Tractor fluid would make a good 'summer weight' chain saw lubricant as it is a bit heavier weight.
Just filter it in case there are impurities present (like filings etc) that might mess up the pumping mechanism.

Shucks, and just changed my oil and dumped it! (forgot that I had 2 chain saws)

Dip fence posts

Spray road for dust

mix with diesel to reduce fuel costs

squirt onto hornet nests

use it to lube stuff from a sqeeze can

start a burn pile on fire (better than an old tire and you get in less trouble!).

I put my $400 tire chains into the bucket of used hydraulic oil and put the cover back on.

I'll bet it's a real PITA to put them on ....

I just hang mine up from a peg on the 6x6's in the pole shed.
