If there was a formula that everyone followed, then there would be no reason to shop around. Its not a perfect world, and some people need the money right away.
I usually sell my stuff cheaper than most, because I don't want to deal with 300 doozies all coming to look at it, and none of them buy it. I'd rather have the first guy buy it instead of entertaining him and his kids as they kick the tires and walk away to keep shopping. Just my opinion.....
