6' used around here is 100-325$ looks about like those listed. I'd like to find one for 100$ i only plan on using mine about 3-4 times a year and can't see 1200-1500$ in one.

That's great, John... and something you can use at your place, too. My best auction buy is something I'll never use for what was intended, but I still like my bale spear for $5. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I figure I'll remove the large spear (two U bolts) and cut off the two lower pieces (used to steady the bale) and just use the frame to make something else. Heck, I think the two Cat 1 pins and two U bolts are worth the $5. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif The rest is a bonus!
