hindsight is 50/50 IF you really needed it shortly after you bought the tractor you should have negotiated to include it into the tractor package.

I had about a month or so before i took delivery of mine and spent the time combing craigslist. within 2 months i had found an HD rear blade and 5' sq back brushhog. the blade cost me $75 and the hog was $250. Been very happy with both. I use the hog a couple of times a year mostly late summer and late fall. Its blades were somewhat worn when i bought it, i put a sorta edge on them with a hand grinder with the intention of getting replacements. 8 years later, the org's are still on it and working fine still. Always something else to spend $$ on.

I actually saw this a few weeks ago (drive by the place on my way to work every day) and knowing I would need one soon I inquired so I knew I had one lined up. I asked about a tractor /cutter combo, but the dealer wasn't gonna really give me anykind of deal on the cutter so I said no. And if this doesn't work out, I didn't lose a whole lot of money (I've made worse mistakes). worse comes to worse I have to buy a new one and I'm out 200 bucks
