I'm sure it will be a good machine for you. I'm curious though, how does Mahindra deal with tier 4 emissions? They still must have a fairly complicated/expensive system even without a particulate filter?
It is fairly complicated -- they use a DOC (catalyst) instead of a DPF. How that compares to DPF and which is better is pretty much marketing. I will say this, Mahindra must have done a good job marketing or their dealers are just spinning the truth, because quite a few customers are under the impression that Mahindra magically avoided the Tier 4 rules. Not the case at all.
