Used pulverizer price?

I looked at a used bush hog pulverizer 6' One roller. It has a price of $500 on it.
Is this a good price for a used one? I had thought about making one after looking at them . What do you guys think?

You won't find a lot of them on the used market. That keeps used price near new. As long as it's in decent shape, I'd suspect the seller will get his price in time. If he's in a hurry to sell, maybe he'll take less.

I have had a 5' Gill for several years. I had a chance to buy a 6' Gill for $350 and have kicked myself a hundred times for not buying it. If the pulverizer is in good shape, it is probably worth the $500. Make sure the roller bearings are ok, and that the drag teeth and roller pins are all intact and not worn out.

I'd jump on it; there is a used 6' land pride around here and it is approximately $1,000

I bought a 6 ft. Gill at a school surplus auction for $300. Twin rollers, barely used, but rusty.
