A few years ago, I rebuilt a Massey Ferguson #66 2X14" 3-point plow. Just about every wear part was tossed and replaced. Even dealt with a slight bit of wear on one frog. This is a plow with what's being described as the "3-piece" bottom. (There's a bunch more'n 3!)
While I was doing the re-hab, I took a few pictures, and did a bit of a narrative of the project. It grew to quite a thread.

Before the economy tanked, before iron prices went through the proverbial roof, and when there was still a bit of inventory still on shelves, I spent far more on parts than a GOOD plow was selling for then. I can only imagine what the cost would be now.
A bit of advice; If you ever go so drastic with re-habbing a plow, and you plan to USE it frequently, get EXTRA parts while you can find them. (ie shares, shins, maybe even coverboards, moldboards and landslides)
About the 2-piece bottoms; You CAN find parts, but the sources are scarce (at best) and the prices are downright unreasonable (relative to the cost of the 3-piece version)
