used utility poles ?

Thanks to everybody for the input and advice. RxRatedZ71, my wife loves the bridge you sent me pictures of. do you have anymore pics - maybe taken during construction? Did you secure the ends of the poles in the ground with cement or did you just dig them in? How did you deal with the taper in the pole and still make the bridge level? Are all three poles layed out with the bigger ends on the same side?

I alternated the pole ends and anchored the to the banks with rebar and concrete. I just used a level to account for the taper and had to shim some areas to help raise it.

Ill check for pics during construction. Ive got some on our computer at home but im out today at my sons t-ball tournament. Nothing like 4 games in 1 day; fun for the whole family!
