The other reason is that I can buy a new one for $2-3,000 less than the normal outright "best price" that people on the board have been paying. If the tractor and implements don't depreciate by more than that every two years, I should be able to buy a new one for what I sell this one for.
Maybe I should ask it this way.
Can I get $18,000 - $19000 for a 2520 (with rear light and block heater) with 65 hours, a 47 inch blower with about 10 hours, a 200CX loader, and a 62" Mid mount deck with 1 hour of usage on it?
That would be a great price in our area, I would think you wouldn't have any problem selling it (the blower alone is around $4,000).
It's hard for some people to understand why someone would want to turn a tractor every few years because having any tractor is a big deal to them neverless a new one every two years. It's your money and if a new tractor gives you peace of mind then go for it . I just wish I hadn't bought my 2520 last year because I would have saved money buying yours!
