Using home heating oil in my tractor

same stuff and no there will be no problem burning it, and as others say buy a pump and hose for it. If you just useing the 200 gallons i dont think i would go though the trouble to buy a suto shutoff nozzel either control the power with a cord by you or be able to hollor to a person to stop the pump. Keep a 5 gallon buckt near incase they dont hear you the first time!! You even could use a hand pump and two people and pump it 5-20 gallons at the time into your tractor and just hollar when to stop.

You would not want to do that around here. Maybe the other way around. Same stuff, but heating oil is more expensive.

True but NH is still allowing HS heating oil 4000PPM . The others are LS heating oil 500PPm

They may "allow" it but where are they getting it? There not making special heating oil just for NH and not taking the sulpher out nor putting it in for them?

I wish i could get some old school fuel id run it no matter what it is. I have an old tractor and dont intend to get a new one so i can run it all even the old speced stuff that does not exist anymore

I just checked with my off road diesel supplier, here in VT. They told me all their off road (red dyed) diesel is 15 ppm ULSD by federal law requirement, AND ALL home heating oil is 500 ppm low sulfur diesel.

Just topped off my HHO tanks last Tuesday. Topped off my (2) outside 275 gallon tanks. HHO I received is #2 dyed diesel ULSD <15PPM (That's all we can get here). Price has come down since last order and was $2.05 per gallon which is cheaper than diesel ($2.29) at the pump in this area. I've been using it in my Tier 4 tractor since date of purchase. I also added Power Service to both tanks.

CT is at 500 ppm for heating oil, but this will go down to 15 ppm in 2018. Diesel is currently $2.29 and heating oil is $1.49. I know CT wanted to move to lower sulfur fuel earlier, but waited until NY changed their laws. They didn't want all of New England using 1 fuel and CT requiring a "boutique" fuel.

Soon you will be Uls hho at 15 ppm. NH still has no plan in place to switch over. Whoever commented as to where they are getting high sulphur heating oil is very simple. It is used alot in industry like industrial parks and power plants. It has a higher profit margin and is cheaper to produce hence the reason to sell it over Uls hho. My supplier will get it when it is at the depot.
