I just received a Midwest RB22-60 rear blade for my B7500, mainly to use for snow removal. I am assuming that when the rear blade is resting on the ground, it no longer puts weight on the rear wheels. I do have rear tire chains, but am wondering whether the rear of the tractor will be too light when plowing with the blade or moving snow with the loader.
The B7500 owner's manual implies that rear wheel weights are not recommended, although liquid tire ballast is okay. I have been using a ballast box for rear wheel traction in lieu of filled tires. This was so I could easily remove the ballast when driving over the lawn. However, the ballast box can't be used with the blade. Any thoughts on this? Thanks.
