Using your Cub year round

I have a 1050 with a 50 inch mower deck but in the winter I mount my 42 inch snow blower and winter cab and use it all winter too. I have been very pleased with it. I have a 6 acer horse farm and about 3 acers of lawn. This thing is a champ. Its a little hard on the eyes but it works like crazy

Before I got my Kubota, my 2185 did double duty as you describe for seven years. It never let me down, but there were some jobs it could not tackle. Sold it for almost what I paid for it to buy my Kub. Often wished I had a cab for it in winter....

I have a Kubota too a B7800 I use for other stuff around the farm. My cub does all the lawn cutting and snow removal. If it gets too heavy I'll use the loader but I don't want damage my driveway

Just out of curiousity, what kinds of jobs couldn't it do? I'm thinking of getting a snow blade but I'm a little leary it won't cut the mustard.

Mostly a matter of size and strength. Bush hogging heavy brush, ground engaging chores(just didn't have the weight), moving alot of wet snow(dry snow was no problem) etc. Really loved that machine, but it became time to move on. I kept chains on it year 'round, but still had occaisional traction issues--I think a blade would be iffy for moving snow especially if you have any inclines as I do.
