SO how did the garage door rebuild go, pull out the rotten post and replace?
This insurance salvage had rolled. The company totalled it because a passenger door didn't close as they supposed the main car body frame was bent. However, the door is attached to the roll cage and the roll cage was obviously bent. Polaris designs the roll cage as the sacrifical part and where the roll cage bolts onto the main frame, Polaris designs in the ability for the joint to "flex" without damaging the main car frame. I know this, but the insurance company adjustor didn't. The front end was squished in as well from two bent metal straps. In the prior photo above I pulled the front end out, hammered the two metal brackets flat and reinstalled sorting out in its entirety the front end damage. I have a little less than $600 to "untotal" this UTV.
