Another dry, sunny day. Cut a few trees off the trails and hauled more dirt.
Hang the key up for 2 weeks and don't use the machine. make a note of how many times you wanted to use it during that time. If you didn't want to use it at least once, sell it. We are getting close to spring, and you may find you can sell it easily.Anyone ever sell their SxS, and not replace it, and regret/thoughts? The background is, we got the Honda 700 back in fall of 2020 (if I remember right); during the Rona, and we had bigger plans. We figured we'd do a bunch of family trail riding ect; and the truth is, we (probably 80% my son. who was 15 at the time) rode it a lot for the first 2 years. I still will take it up to pick daughter up from bus stop 2 miles away, and some times ride it around, but not that much. I'm kinda conflicted; we are still making payments on it for I think the rest of 2024. It would be nice to get rid of the payment; but at the same time; if it was 100% paid off, I dont think I'd want to get rid of it.
For us, it's been mostly a toy, (an expensive toy), but it has been useful around the house; but the tractor has replaced the SxS for a lot of the work stuff (pulling fence, moving materials/tools, picking up limbs/tree debris, ect).
Our machine is parked for a month or more, then suddenly goes into the field and used lots every day.Hang the key up for 2 weeks and don't use the machine. make a note of how many times you wanted to use it during that time.
