Yea, aftermarket in the 80’s

Something “country” I can’t recall name.

(Really just an excuse to enjoy 3w in snow, a rake would win for speed)

Not my rig and not my photo...but this is a shot of one of the tracked UTVs used by the Elko County, Nevada Search and Rescue Unit to rescue people stuck in snow drifts in the back country. They had to use it 5 times in February alone, according to the news article.

My only thought is...why didn't the County spring for a UTV with a full cab to use in winter? I'm sure both rescuers and the rescued would have appreciated a warm cab when it is 20 degrees out there and the wind is howling!

Ya, if you picked up someone who's wet and cold, then ride back might be a real problem.

You'd think they would have a cab.

Around here the VFD uses an enclosed argo for an off the road rescue. The heater in that thing rocks.

Yea, mine is somewhat slow when going across open water. I never added the outboard motor option

Saw Keweenaw counties impressive search and rescue sxs has heated cab, pods, and was towing an enclosed ambulatory sled behind it. Very Impressive, fortunately they were just patrolling dog sled race route. Unfortunately no pictures.
