Looks good. Now it's time to make some hay. Enjoy.

I will be just as soon as this weather gives me a window. Which looks like maybe next week.

I looked up the model numbers the op listed. Vermeer has obviously changed the design since we had one which has been some time again. The type we had only had one cylinder that raised both wings. The frame and metal was weak, tongue bolts would break and after a couple of years the wings would not hold there self in position well enough to spin the wheels and give a consistent windrow.

Looking at their website the design now is much better and closely matches the Kuhn model of which we have had two. No issues with the Kuhn rakes at all. We also run their cutters.

That older rake was a Tonutti rake. Vermeer, Gehl & John Deere sold that same rake.

Thought I'd give a quick update. Ended up getting neither of my original choices. Just pulled a New Holland Procart 1022 home today. It's dark and rainy so pictures will have to wait till later.

If anyone is interested I'll go into my thought process of choosing this one.

Hi. I know this is an old post. I am actually deciding right now between a Kuhn speedrake or new Holland pro cart. Was curious what made you choose the pro cart and how you like it so far? I was leaning toward the Kuhn because of being able to adjust window width separately from working width with the Kuhn. Thank you..

Have you looked at pequea? You can adjust windrow width separate from working width and should save money compared to new Holland or Kuhn.

I bought a 10 wheel pequea this summer and so far I have not been disappointed. It was considerably cheaper than I could buy either a new Holland or Kuhn locally.
