Boomer 1725 and TN 70 DA
Hi;

At my last 600 hr service I put the manual away in a real safe place,,,,now at my age I can't remember where that was or the valve lash settings for the 29hp in a Boomer 1725,,,,anybody out there have the settings? I'd sure appreciate it as it is once again that time, and while I can remember most everything else, I'd hate to be wrong about the settings.....

I think 0.008" is pretty standard on these small engines. Heck, probably your TN70 is really close to that too. Anyhow, the TC35, TC40, and TC45 are all 0.008" and I'm making a guess that it's the same for your 1725. That is a cold engine setting, of course.

Hey:

thanks! My son thought that was probably the correct setting as that was the feeler blade that was out on the set. See how well I put things away!

Anyway, thanks a bunch, not at least if I totally screw it up and have a problem and the wife gets pissed I have some cover.
