Valve Clearance

Hi there:
Can anyone tell me the valve clearance on my tractor?
It is a Foton 404, 40 hp, 3 cyl diesel.

Please check the engine label and advise what it says. Depending upon the engine, they're typically located on the top of the valve cover, on the side of the valve cover, or on the side of the block (usually under the intake manifold).

No problem. Unfortunately I don't know that engine, so we'll have to hope someone pops by that's got the SL3105BT

If your engine runs in the upper (desirable) temp. range of 180°F to 195°F then .014" for intake and .016" for exhaust.
If your engine runs in the lower range of 140°F to 170°F then .012" for intake and .014" for exhaust.

TheNorth : Affordable did not know ? You must have mistaken us for someone else ? I e-mailed the settings several days ago. Call our office they will give you the settings again ,979-865-4002 for the SL3105 Engine
