Stopped by wallyworld to pick up oil for the 50 hr. service on my bx2200. After looking high and low. I found only Valvoline Durablend oil in a 10w-30/ 10w-40 weight that was CF rated. At $2+ it isn't cheap, but better than Mobil 1 for cost.
I remember an older thread on synthetics and synthetic blends, but don't remember seeing anything on Valvoline.
Any opinions out there?? I'm just about due for my 1st change and want to make sure I'm using the right stuff.
Also, has anyone noticed their Wallyworld dropping a lot of automotive stuff? I used to be able to get Superlube, spray lithium, Slick50 grease, etc., and they now don't stock it.
Thanks in advance,
DaveL

I might be just your store, all of my local W-M's still have all of those items.

I think you'd do better with an oil designed for diesel's.

For Dino, I'd use Longlife, Delo, Delvac 1300, or possibly Rotella.

For synthetics, I'd use Delvac 1, Redline, or Amsoil AME

Hey Dave I went with the Rotella synthetic, after much price research Wal Mart was the cheapest on Rotella 1 gal. by many $$$.
