The Valvoline premium blue extreme synthetic 5w-40 for HD diesels is great oil all around. Since it became available I've been using it in every possible engine. Longer miles/hours / drain intervals @ better mpg (23.8 in the 5.9 Cummins) less noise especially in the motorcycle! Also changed to 100% synth gear oil; filter& re-use that for bar oil too, makes far
less wear & heat.
