I have looked at them. The guy I buy from actually is local, 18 miles away. I just call him up and put in a order. Very easy to work with. Last one I got 100 filters for $155. Picked up 12 for each of my mowers, 16 for my tractor, 12 for Ford F-150/Lincoln Aviator, 12 for my Titan, 6 for my neighbors Dmax, 6 for his Ford Tractor, and the rest were for boats. In that order I also got 8 air filters, 6 fuel filters, and 6 hydraulic filters plus a few other miscellaneous filters.

Just the Ford F-150 air filters were $15 each at Walmart. I had over $80 alone in air filters but got them for about $3 each from him.

Gee - thats a great deal Chris. I've gotta look into something like that. I service our families vehicles, about 6 cars and trucks along with another 12 pieces of heavy equipment. We usually buy everthing at an autoparts store, or OEM for the machines (John Deere, Cat, Komatsu). I'll have to put a bulk order together and see what pricing I can get.

Should I look for a distributor?

Hey Guys,

Check out "FILTER 1" Filter1 Wix heavy duty engine, oil, automotive, truck, and tractor filers.

Just set yourself up an account -- call yourself "CrashZ Maintenance" and start ordering. there is no shipping costs if you order more than 6 filters at a time. I started with these guys years ago and now do at least 2-3 orders a year (last order was almost $700) for myself, family and friends. The prices on the big filters for dozers, skidders, ... are really good from what I have seen. Their customer service is top notch as well (in the last order they shipped a couple of the wrong filters XX2349 instead of XX2439 -- when I called them up they overnighted the correct filters to me along with several t-Shirts and couldn't quit apologizing for the error.

Do yourself a favor and at least check them out.

I get my stuff from a local guy who bought out a distribution center. He has well over 10,000 filters in stock. I just give him the Fram cross over numbers via the Fram web site and he goes from there.

I guess I should have added that Filter 1 will also ship you the 3 WIX application manuals/catalogs at no cost with your order (car & truck, Heavy Equipment, and Cross-Reference). You just have to check the box when submitting the order. The on-line lookup at WIX works pretty well too,but I have noticed that they don't have some of the Kubota models (like my B3200) but if you put in the Kubota Filter part number they will give you a WIX filter that crosses to it (except the fuel filter on the B3200)
