Vertical Exhaust on JD 1025R

Now, a question or 2 ! Are those items from John Deere or an automotive store like NAPA ? Also, any part numbers to share ? It looks like just 3 simple pieces of exhaust pipes - with the 3rd one on top being from John Deere.

Thank you in advance for a reply.

A Bit taller with a rain cap on top would give it some attitude but It also looks good the way you have it now.

I have to take screen shots of my pics then re post them so they post the right way.

Wow, have I ever been wanting to do this! I hate breathing the exhaust all the time, and my spouse hates my clothing smelling of exhaust too. I keep thinking about how exactly to execute on it. Thanks for posting!

One thing I miss about the old Kubota was that the vertical exhaust was close enough to reach from the front seat. Whenever I was working on snow removal, I'd keep wrapping one hand or the other around it whenever I needed to warm up. You put them lower for hotter or higher for just warm....

I can't figure out why the thumbnails do that? Mac thing? At least they straighten out when u click on them. :)

I have a Mac, and the thumbnails are wrong but they straighten out when I click them, just like you.

Maybe we should post on a Mac forum somewhere....

Looks nice! Factory perfect! However, I concur with Imold, a black rain cap slapping would be the icing on the cake. You could simply make a straight piece that slips on where the curved outlet goes and switch between the two as your mood dictates!

I think you should do this and post some pics or better yet, video rolling coal!

I did this to my BX, I tried two different round mufflers and they were too loud so I found this Honda Civic muffler and it's as quiet as stock.

Has there been any problems with the exhaust heat and the plastic hood proximities?

That looks 'corny'.... So do the dual tires. Let us know when you break an axle. Those small units aren't built for that much tire width. Axle diameter isn't nearly enough to carry duals.... It's yours so you can do what you want to it but be apprised, it's yours forever.

Diesel engines that are naturally aspirated, the exhaust is extremely loud.
