Vertical exhaust; quieter?

That vertical exhaust comes off so easy, I'm going to pop it off and use the coffee can for the 2" stub that sticks through the hood when I trailer it.
Best of both worlds

I have used the coffee can in the past as well. With the rain flap, once it is installed, you don't have to remember to put it back on at the end of the day, or try to find one when you leave your tractor parked somewhere else. No need to pull the stack to trailer your tractor either.

Hope all had a great turkey day.

Or forget that the coffee can is installed and blow it up with startup exhaust and watch in slow motion as it comes down on your nice shiny hood with a bang.

Ok I am reading all the post and thinking why are you all putting coffee cans and rain flappes on your 3x20 and 4x20 tractors vertical exhaust. If you look at the bottom of the angle pipe that you or your dealer installed it has a drain hole on the bottom of the exhaust. If there is water getting in there its draining right out.If your washing it with pressure washer take off the exhaust and put a spray can top over the stub.

My bad! Didn't know about the drain hole in the bottom of exhaust pipe. Amazing what you can learn here.
