Quick Hitches Video about 3 Point Quick Hitch

Great video! I have a quick hitch from Tractor Supply since 2004. Tried the Pat's quick change things for about a year, switched back.

It was better to modify the attachments- just did the York Rake last week. It was the "reason" for the year of change, LOL.

I've found that by extending the top link to "grab" the top pin, I can draw some attachments into place, lining up the lower pins.

Many times I can reach over the back from the seat and flick the top latching handles closed. If the implement doesn't have a drive shaft, I don't have to get off the tractor :)

My handles are a bit longer than the ones in your video.

Your tractor looks just like my Mahindra 3510, except you must keep it indoors ;)

Prepare yourself for money shock. I bought Kubota kits to add 2nd and 3rd to my M9540. Then I built my top and tilt cylinder kits. Fortunately the ole Ford already had two rear remotes. So all I had to buy was a top link cylinder to have that function. Haven't added tilt to it yet. But I don't use a QH on it. Keep us posted on your progress!!!!

Yeah I have a feeling it's gonna be pricey! Wish I would have purchased remotes with the tractor.

Did you install the Kubota kit yourself? And if so how difficult was it?

Thank you for the advice!

Yeah the convenience of the quick hitch is worth the hassle of modifying implements in my opinion if you have too.

I can also flip the levers without getting off tractor! Can't beat that!! Such an improvement over struggling with hooking three point links up. I have telescoping link ends and they were still a huge hassle on heavier implements like a bush hog.

The Kubota kits come with detailed instructions and diagrams. Very easy and simple with no special tools required.

I went with the Kubota valves/levers/hydraulic block/hoses/rear connectors and Fit-Rite cylinders and hoses. Will be installing it all in a week or two. Was about $1830 for all the Kubota parts (3 detented valves), and $950 for the cylinders.

I'll disagree a little bit about "easy". There's just pictorial diagrams of how the valves and block fit together and bags of different sized o-rings and lip seals, some of which will not be used for your installation, so you have to figure out what to use by trial fitting. I found that among several different Kubota dealers/sources, the pricing was virtually identical. I talked my local Kubota dealer into 10% off by also buying a LandPride grader at the same time. I'll have a nice tax deduction now!

Congrats!!!

Easy is a relevant term!!!

In the Kubota world they call these kits "Whole Goods" and there is no wiggle room on price. Sounds like you were able to use it to get leverage on an additional purchase.

Take pics and post your install progress.

Great info!

Pics would be really nice when it's done. What tractor is this kit going on?

FWIW you can just get the slip on pin bushings to convert cat 1 to cat 2 for a couple bucks apiece and just leave your keeper pins in place. I actually changed the lift pins completely on a couple of implements as they can be bought for less than 10 bucks each from cat 1 to cat 2
