Interesting thread. It really has me thinking about the possibilities for general sickle bar mowing.

My grape pruner has four legs and a white tail and sometimes antlers, they seem to keep them in check. (Then again the archery stand will be near there this year).

I'm looking at putting one on a Kubota BX2660, which would solve the excess flow problem (3.7 GPM to loader)

Sorry, to take so long ....but my cpu mojo is terrible.
If this was for me, the price was $1200 I think. Not including hoses fittings etc. I believe you get get a quote pretty easily off the samurai cutter website.
