Vintage New Idea Baler Questions

A friend asked me today if I could find out some information on a piece of equipment on her place. It's an old New Idea baler, apparently her father bought it and intended to restore it but passed away before he'd had a chance. It's been sitting there ever since, and she wants to know whether she should advertise it for sale as is (she says it's pretty rough) if it's the sort of thing people would be interested in, try parting it out, or just sell it to a scrapper. If it's worth selling, what price range would she be justified in asking?
