Vinyl or Wood windows?

Aluminum clad wood windows have a great look to them, but unfortunatley they are much more expensive than vinyl. The other thing to consider is the labor to paint or stain them, a good painter will remove the operable section to make sure all surfaces are coated, where as vinyl never needs anything!
Make sure get energy star windows, a U factor of .30 or below, they are worth the money, depending on your night time low temps

Well, one thing we don't have to worry about is labor. HEHE
