Yup, time to go find a fat goose and kick back a bit, hopefully the weather will let my wife make it in. Been eyeballin that cigar and last bit of scotch,
Yes I am happy with the building, it is rated for 150 mph winds and all thru the construction I have had 50 plus knots from all directions and it has done fine. We had gusts over 70 last night and everything was still there this am even with no door and half the front wall missing. I would not build another one solo though, having just one other set of hands to put a nut on while you shove a bolt thru would probably 4x the speed and save a lot of running back and forth. Doing it with the trough foundation would have been impossible solo with my weather but the welded base plate made it fairly ez and kept things from moving around with the wind. Will put a wood floor in part as well as lofts on 3 sides in the spring when I get back. Be nice to have some room to work out of the weather and my little Kubota is glad to spend the night oow too:laughing:
