waiting for glow plugs when starting warm engine

Do I have to wait for the glow plug lite to go out when the engine has only been shut down for 5 -10 mins?

I don't as if egine is warm, the glow plug light does not even come on, and engine just starts even 40 minutes later, same condition applies. Engine just starts.

My glow plug light comes on every time I turn on the key, but if the engine is fully warmed up and has been used within the last half hour or so I don't wait, especially in summer. Mid-winter, I'll wait for the light to go out after 15 minutes of non-activity.

The light on my Ck30 doesn't come on again once its warmed up.

The CK20S will glow every time. It usually isn't necessary to wait for the light to go out to start the tractor if it is already warm. You won't harm anything to try.

Yup! Wallace River is about 15 kms west of Tata.

I bought land on east earltown road. That's where I'm using the tractor. My road is around 1/4 mile long. I cleared the trees then had an excavator grub out the road then did the rest by rake and shovel until I bought the tractor. I really appreciate that tractor.

My cottage is about 20 minutes from there on Cape John. I turn the opposite way towards Scotsburn as the pavement is just about all new out to River John via West Branch.
