I'm taking the time to finish all the projects I have let slide. I'm building three new raised beds, building another work bench for the shop, replacing plugged zerk fittings on implements, replacing the injectors on my pickup, in between mowing the lawn, working up the garden, whacking weeds, cutting firewood, etc.

I have a great front projection home theater system that you can only see when the room is dark, and I installed translucent blinds. That was intentional. The days are long, and there are better things to do than watch TV. My dad used to sneak the fuse out of the back of the TV every spring, and not "fix" it until fall. If it's daylight, there are better things to do than sit around.

And we can always go fishing.

I just stopped for lunch. Maybe I'll have another cup of coffee.

There are so many projects in the wings... but nothing I can do about it...

When I was maybe 3 I heard my grandmother say in a loud voice to my grandfather... "Have you lost your marbles?"

I was not present in the room but clearly heard.

I just happened to have a small cloth bag with a few marbles in my room so I retrieved it upstairs and then went into the living room and offered my marbles to my Grandfather with all the adults present... their was silence and then a roar of laughter so loud it frightened me.

That story has been family lore ever since...

I was taken care of by my grandmother/father when dad went to the war (and mom was working at the ship yards). . . I remember to this day I was about 3 yo and my grandmother (she was a Irish woman) got into a argument with grandpa at the dinner table (who never said much (WW1 vet) but that day she decided to start tossing dishes at him, never hit him mind you but I know his response after wiping his mouth off and leaving the dinner table "now clean it up".

Not the prettiest thing but should work well. Made this cultivator in my spare time. I'm hoping to get the tines cut.

I can't decide if drilling in the spring steel would be better (easier) or cutting off the tip of the tine. I don't have torch tanks so it would be sawzall or cut off wheel. 20200323_183957.jpg20200323_184001.jpg20200324_102302.jpg

70-80 bottles?
At Canadian provincial liquor store prices?
Poor bugger must have needed to stop at the local RBC or BMO first.

AND he did not have a loyalty card and I was too far back in line to ask for his points.

No bank stop as they refuse cash, only CC's due to virus transmission.
I even had to flip my loyalty card over as he refused to handle it.

Luckily I am a farmer and agriculture is considered life sustaining, so off to work I go. I’m practicing social distancing, hand washing, etc. The roads in PA are pretty desolate. In Delaware, they’re quite active, since no emergency lock down has been declared yet.

FWIW...Photographs are not really avatars... think of them as icons that represent a real person...

Take that up with Muhammad, maybe he'll change their name to "icon". Let us know how that goes.
