I have the swisher from tsc. and it works pretty good , the only problem I see is you have to turn mine upside down in order to drain the oil . I do agree a self propelled unit would be much nicer for sure .
Yes I have works great so far.Good $$ spent IMHO.Have you had a chance to try it out?

A good thing IMHO.Mine is a couple years old so they must have made a much needed change after so many phone calls .

I have 2 straight shaft trimmers that I have trimmed with for years.Back in 2007 I had major back surgery and it kills my back to trim for any amount of time.I find the walk behind trimmer to be a better alternative.I think this is one of those yard maintenance tools I always overlooked. Now you guys have me thinking. It would probably make my life a lot easier. I've got just about every other type of mower/trimmer going.
Yes sir,yesterday! One thing I found out it does,nt like old wood chunks sitting in the tall grass.Broke a few strings on the old wood other than that pretty happy with it.Any more time on the trimmer?
The swisher model with the 6.75 briggs engine.TSC had them on sale last week for $279.which one did ya get?
