I have given up on ALL mouse traps,, except the KNESS KetchAll

One time, I posted pics of the one night catch in this trap,, everyone asked that I not post those pics again,,,

Yes, I have a "walk the plank",, it never gets a change to operate,, the mice just seem to love going in the Kness,,,

My mouse population is almost zero around my home after using this thing for two winters,,,

Very good idea. I have two traps like that only without the quart jar and hose. They canch a few mice but then they try crawing through the paddle and that jams it up so it stops working. Just curious, what kind and size of hose is that. Either way I like that idea.

I haven't been successful with the walk the plank thing outside. I did take out a half dozen with some quick set drywall mud powder in the bottom of cereal box mixed with the old cereal. These buggers are thinking that the chicken coop is their new home. We changed the feed system, took out most of the litter. I'd like to pop them with a pellet gun, but don't want the hens to eat the lead. Any ideas?

The plank trap I built seems to work. I sent it to my son because I have a mouser cat. Recommend putting the dab of peanut butter on the under side of the plank. If pizz ants become a problem cleaning the platter, a dusting of 7 repellent around the bucket will solve that problem.

The underside may work better when outside too. Thanks for the tip. I was a smart guy and made a woven mesh trap door for the bottom of the coop at night. Worked great for a night. Then they realized the coop construction crew (me) built the front with 1" cage wire. Gives them a nice massage as they pass though...:duh:

If I ever build another - walk the plank - I'll construct it with a bait receiver on the bottom of the plank out at the end to bait with Pecan, my preferred bait for snap traps.

From all my results and internet suggestions PB is the bait of choice!
Any 5 gal pail that has easy access (nothing elaborate) with PB at the bottom will work.

Hey this is from a 20 year mouser! LOL.

If it was an internet suggestion it must be true. Reminds me of the dawn detergent thing.

The walk the plank trap REALLY works. I've caught over 30 so far. I've tried many different types of traps and the walk the plank is by far the most effective.
